"Now You See Me" actor said in an interview with "Hey You Blogs" that the 'Harry Potter' lead actor will join the cast.
Daniel Radcliff will be on screen opposite NYSM actors Caine, Morgan Freeman, Jessie Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo, and Woody Harrelson in the upcoming "Now You See Me 2," according to Michael Caine.
In an interview with the Hey You Guys blog on Thursday, Caine let slip that Radcliffe had been cast as his son in the follow-up to the magic-flavored heist film.
"There's a sequel to Now You See Me and we're shooting in London," Caine said. "I shoot in December, the whole of December in London, and my son is Harry Potter. I thought it'd be funny, me and Daniel Radcliffe as father and son."
Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate announced in September that "Now You See Me 2" will hit theaters on June 10, 2016.
Lionsgate also announced the release date, which is December 25, 2015, for roadtrip comedy "Dirty Grandpa" starring Robert De Niro and Zac Efron.
The comedy follows an uptight, soon-to-be-married man who is tricked into driving his foul-mouthed grandfather, a former Army general, to Florida for spring break.
Jon M. Chu is directing the film, which is produced by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Bobby Cohen.
The first movie installment of Now You See Me, premiered in 2013, exceeded expectations when it opened in May 2013 to a $29.4 million domestic debut.
It went on to earn $351.7 million worldwide.
