British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and "Bang Bang" hit singer Ariana Grande are taking the stage at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards, MTV announced Tuesday.
"Anaconda" singer Nicki Minaj will be the host for the evening.
The awards show will be held in "SSE Hydro" in Glasgow, Scotland on November 9.
The show will be broadcasted live on the network at 9 p.m. CET.
The MTV EMA celebration will begin in the US and will be broadcasted live from Miami at 7 p.m. EST.
The UK best-selling male artist Sheeran was the first to break the news via a Facebook video.
"I've never been successful enough in Europe to be part of it, and finally I am, so, ... yay!" he said, teasing, "I hear there's another female artist performing, ... she's got a few 'problems' and hangs out with rappers that might be a bit 'fancy.'"
Ariana Grande expressed her excitement in a statement, "I'm definitely looking forward to being part of the party onstage this year."
Sheeran booked the gig after starring in the first installment of MTV's "Nine Days and Nights" series in June and releasing current album "x."
The "Don't" and "Sing" hit singer is also nominated for best male and best UK and Ireland act.
Grande, who hosted the EMA digital backstage show last year, just performed alongside "Bang Bang" collaborators Jessie J and Nicki Minaj at the MTV Music Awards last month.
The rumored Big Sean girlfriend took the MTV airwaves with "Total Arian Live" to release tracks from her new album "My Everything."
Ariana has six MTV EMA's nomination, including best song, best pop, best female, best new, best push, and biggest fans.
