Jennifer Love Hewitt apparently gave actor Matt Damon an air mattress 15 years ago and she is still waiting for a thank you note from the actor.
Back in the '90s, Matt Damon still did not have the time to purchase a mattress of his own due to his hectic schedule. At that time, Damon was in the early process of making it big in films like The Rainmaker and Good Will Hunting.
At that time, Jennifer Love Hewitt read the magazine where Damon disclosed that information and her heart clinched. In an interview last Monday, Hewitt said that she had bought Damon an air mattress and had it shipped to him in Paris where Damon was doing his film.
According to Hewitt, "I was reading an article and he said this really sad thing about how all his dreams were coming true but he didn't feel that he had a bed of his own, he was always traveling."
The actress added in the interview by Jimmy Kimmel, "I remember being really busy also and thinking that's so sad, to have all your dreams come true but not have a solid foundation. So for some reason, I though an aerobed would help that for him."
Hewitt also said that the actor did not thank her for the gift. She said, "It made me sad. I understand maybe his security never gave it to him, that's a possibility,"
Jennifer Love Hewitt, 35, is an American actress, producer and television director. She first appeared in television commercials as a child as was cast in the Disney Channel series Kids Incorporated.
