'The Mentalist' Season 7 spoilers that Lisbon will be reunited with his two brothers and a new female character will join the last season.
"The Mentalist" Season 7 will be released January 2015. The cast has already started filming the upcoming season. Sadly, Emily Swallow, who plays FBI Agent Kim Fisher, won't reprise her role as she already joined "Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce," a Bravo series.
Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon's budding romance will be put at test and they will work together with CIA. They will be tracking down an arm dealer in Beirut. A new character Michelle Vega will join the cast; and she might be unimpressed by Jane's unorthodox ways.
"Morena Baccarin will be coming back to reprise her role as Erika Flynn. Her character was last seen during the season 4. She was released from the prison because she convinced Jane as well as Lisbon played by Robin Tunney that she got important information on a case. Baccarin will be on the 3 episode of season 7.", according to a report from ZapIt.
In an interview with HollywoodReporter Bruno Heller spilled some beans about the final season.
"The pleasures of the show rests in the byplay between Robin [Tunney] and Simon [Baker]. Getting rid of Red John allowed us to focus on that human aspect of the show. Red John, as it turns out, was a convenience for Jane because it meant Jane and he didn't have to confront the rest of his life and what he's doing,"
"This is a popular show. It's meant for the people. We have tried to make a finale to the season that will please and engage and fill our core audience."
Meanwhile, Simon Baker will be directing the sevent episode "The Silver Briefcase". The lead actor in the series is known for directing other episodes like "My Blue Heaven", "Red Moon,", "Blinking Red Light," and "Red Rails in the Sunset."
TV Line revealed that Lisbon will reunited with his other two siblings will be called Jimmy and Stan.
The site further said that Jimmy - the younger one - is a gambler who happens to witness a murder and is now sought by the feds. Meanwhile, is described to be of having a mild-mannered family man characteristic who may have some knowledge about his brother's doings.( via ChristianPost)
