World Of Warcraft Movie News: Cast Revealed; Trailer Amazes Fans At Comic-con.

It seems that the World Of Warcraft Movie News involves a trailer description and a plot rumor.

The trailer, which was shown last July at the 2014 Comic-con left the audience in awe, as Director Duncan Jones showed a brief preview of what's to come.

According to slashfilm.com,

"We start with a room full of Alliance weapons. Swords, shields and more. "I've spent more time protecting my king than my own son," a character says in voiceover. Lots of men in Armor and some banners. "Does that make me loyal or a fool?" These are the Alliance humans. We cut to a green sky. Now we see the Horde orcs. They looked like if Shrek was real, but much scarier and realistic. Lord of the Rings quality. "I've lead thousands of warriors into battle. Does that make me a leader or a coward" The trailer then cuts between scenes of men preparing for battle, the orcs preparing for battle, and the two main voices echoing their similar philosophies. The orc home is an epic mountain space. Then the question, "Is war the only answer?" And then it begins. Battles. Flying. Swords. Hammers. An alliance griffin diving down into a battle. A man jumps on the back of the orc and stabs him in the chest."

Also according to the same write-up, The World of Warcraft movie will star "Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky, Dominic Cooper, Daniel Wu and Clancy Brown. The script was written byCharles Leavitt and rewritten by Duncan Jones. The film is set to be released in 2D and 3D on March 11th, 2016."

Another World of Warcraft movie news involves specualtions of the plot. As written by screenrant in a previously published article,

"Warcraft's events will reportedly unfold against the backdrop of Orcs & Humans andTides of Darkness, the first two installments in the beloved series, rather than the looser, more open-air experience of World of Warcraft. Not content simply to slavishly reinterpret the feel of the game for a different medium, Jones apparently plans on going full-bore with the fantasy elements and crafting a legitimate genre film as well as a bona fide video game movie; picture the scope of Lord of the Rings, but with characters like Khadgar, Medivh, and Lothar serving as leads.

The Comic-Con panel established that the core conflict of the games will remain intact, but now that conflict appears to have its context in the early stages of the orc/human war.

While this almost certainly means no Thrall and no Arthas - two of the most iconic characters in all of Warcraft - it's possible that additional Warcraft pictures could include them in the future - assuming, of course, that Jones rakes it in at the box office and Legendary and Warner Bros. decide to fund sequels."
