Gwen Stefani is finishing her new solo album with music producer Pharrell Williams.
The last solo album Gwen had released, also known as "The Sweet Escape" was in 2006 but fans should get excited for the wait may soon be over because the new "Voice" coach will release new music fresh from the studios.
In a panel at New York's Adertising Week on Monday, September 9, Irving Azoff (Stefani's Manager) said that the 44-year-old pop singer is currently recording new tracks in Miami with favorite collaborator and "Voice" colleague Pharrell Williams.
Azoff added that next week, "Hollaback Girl" singer will pick which song track will be the lead single that she will later on perform on "The Voice" later in the season.
"She will perform her lead single on 'The Voice," manager Irving Azoff told "Billboard" in an interview.
In an August interview with "Billboard", Interscope Chairman John Janick said that Gwen Stefani was rushing to finish a new album for a December-Winter release.
"On the back of her role on 'The Voice', Benny Blanco will executive produce, and it will come out in partnership with his label [Mad Love Record] aspart of out overall deal with him," Janick said in the interview.
He also noted that British group Rixton's upcoming full-length album will also be issued by Blanco's Mad Love label.
"The Hollywood Reporter" reported that sources say Stefani has been simultaneously working on new material for a new No Doubt album as follow-up to 2012's "Push and Shove."
Stefani's band played in New York's Global Citizen Festival over the weekend.
The band also reunited with Sting for a reprise of the "Message in a Bottle" cover they performed during the Super Bowl in 2002.
Stefani has recently given birth to her third son with husband Gavin Rossdale in March this year.
