Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao has answered back at Mayweather's insulting tweet and Instagram post. GMA News posted a television interview with the People's Champ. Pacquio said that "he was not angry" at Mayweather. In fact, he pities him because "he acts like an uneducated person". He pities him and adds, "I'm praying for him."
For years, a potential matchup between Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao and Floyd "Money Man" Mayweather has been floated for years. It is one of the most anticipated boxing event that many fans would like to see. Unfortunately, the proposed ring match now seems unlikely. Both fighters seem to prefer fighting it out on social media instead.
The social media boxing match started when PacMan tweeted about the Money Man's testimony that his reality television show is actually scripted and much of the scenes were faked. Pacquiao also questions Mayweather's integrity and if he was really willing to face in the ring. Mayweather answered back with a tweet of his own and added an Instagram post showing three pictures of PacMan falling on the canvass.
Meanwhile, veteran boxing trainer Naazim Richardson has changed his opinion on who will win, if a match between the PacMan and the Money Man will happen today. Earlier Richardson picked PacMan as the clear winner in the imaginary fight. However, he has changed his opinion and says that he can no longer decide on who has the better advantage.
Richardson said that if they had the fight happened several years ago, Pacquiao would've easily won that match. But both fighters are getting older and are losing their edge that helped them win their matches. Even Richardson has given up the idea that the two boxing champions will ever face each other on the ring. Even the expected millions of dollars in prize money and pay per view deals seem not enough to lure the two fighters to face each other.
Manny "PacMan" Pacquio has a scheduled fight with American Chris Algieri on November 22 in Macao.
