GoPro slated for release on Sunday three cameras varying in size and specs to further expand their low and high end lines, including the entry level GoPro Hero for $129.
The Hero4 Black Edition priced at $499 has double the video resolution of the previous model, Hero3+. It pushes the limits of video recording in a compact package with the 4K video recording at 30 frames person.
Hero 4 Silver Edition, the middle model, has the LCD preview screen that fans have been asking GoPro to include in the brand's features. GoPro said that LCD screen cannot be included in the Hero4 Black Edition as it will heat up the product due to its 4K video recording.

It will take a few weeks before the new models will be compatible with the mobile app. Ac
Other notable change is in the camera body, as the batteries are now at the bottom. According to The Wall Street Journal, the only drawback is new line's short battery life of only three hours.
The press event to introduce the latest camera models was a held at a trampoline facility. Here, reporters tried out the Hero4 Black and Silver cameras while riding go-karts.
