Named "Nintendo San Francisco," the store is scheduled to open in 2025 at Union Square.

According to Siliconera, Nintendo operates several stores across the United States to cater to its fans. One such location is already established in New York City, known for hosting special events and showcasing unique displays like the Gulf War Game Boy.

For those who prefer online shopping, Nintendo offers the My Nintendo Store, which provides direct access to its products. An official Amazon storefront also features an extensive range of Nintendo merchandise for enthusiasts to explore.

Rodney Fong, President and CEO of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, hailed the news of a forthcoming Nintendo store in Union Square as a thrilling development.

Supervisor Peskin reassured the public about security measures, highlighting the presence of on-site security at the Nintendo store and the allocation of law enforcement resources in Union Square to ensure safety.

The Union Square Alliance's advocacy for more storefronts aligns with the city's aim to revitalize the area. According to Fong, 32 businesses have recently debuted in Union Square, reflecting its growing appeal as a commercial hub.
