In a TikTok video, a former employee of Domino's, Dylan Caberto, explained a little-known policy that can result in customers getting a free pizza.

Caberto detailed in his video that if a customer complains about their pizza, even if there was nothing wrong with the order, they are still entitled to a new pizza at no extra charge. "That customer is still allowed to receive another order of their pizza, so basically, you get a free pizza back," he said.

Domino's has a "Carryout Insurance Program," which enables customers to return their pizzas to the store with the receipt within two hours of pickup if they are not satisfied.

Domino's introduces a unique policy for its customers: carryout insurance. This policy ensures that if a pizza is damaged during transport, the company will either replace it with a new one or refund the money.

However, similar to other insurance policies, certain criteria must be fulfilled for a claim to be accepted.

Domino's carryout insurance offers a replacement or refund for pizzas returned in their original condition to the store of purchase within two hours. The pizza must be uneaten, in its original box, and with the receipt or order label.

This policy ensures customers receive a new pizza of the same type, with no substitutions allowed. The availability of this service depends on the individual store's participation.

Additionally, Domino's promises satisfaction, pledging to correct any issues or provide refunds. It processes refunds back to the original payment method, ensuring customers remain content with their dining experience.

Caberto shared more insights from his time at the popular fast-food chain, revealing practices that might surprise many customers.

Caberto discussed how Domino's handles mistakes with toppings. If an employee forgets to add a topping or includes an unwanted one, they don't necessarily remake the pizza. "They can just take that out with their tongs. They don't have to remake it," he noted.

He also mentioned that some employees heat extra toppings for five minutes before adding them to the pizza to rectify mistakes.

However, Caberto's revelation concerning vegan customers might raise eyebrows. He disclosed that not all toppings end up on the pizza as intended. "They just fall into this bin mixed with dairy, veggies, meat," Caberto explained, indicating that even veggie pizzas might come into contact with meat juices.

The video sparked a lively discussion among TikTok users, with many sharing their experiences.

An ex-employee of eight years confirmed Caberto's claims, while others debated the frequency and correctness of these practices. "Never 100%, but two and three are accurate, and I did secret #2 twice today," another user admitted, highlighting the complexity and variability of food preparation at Domino's.

Interestingly, a former Dunkin' employee revealed on TikTok that their drink flavor swirls contain a surprising 12 grams of sugar per pump, which can significantly increase the sugar content of beverages depending on the drink's size and the number of pumps added.

Consequently, she confessed to being a frequent consumer of Dunkin' drinks but ultimately changed her habits after recognizing the potential health implications of their high sugar content.
