Wawa's yearly job push is mainly aimed at recruiting the seasonal staff needed to help run its stores during the busy summer months and to strengthen its associates' teams.
The company is making these jobs even more attractive by offering excellent benefits. Every time they work, employees can get a free Shorti sandwich and a special menu of discounted food items.
Wawa, which is open 24/7, also promises flexible work schedules. The company says the workplace is set to be engaging, with events happening regularly at each store and programs that recognize and celebrate the team's hard work and cooperation.
"Wawa is a place of excitement during the summer, and we're on the lookout for team members eager to join a company celebrated for its top-notch food and customer service, not to mention our distinctive culture and dedication to brightening days," Marc Maiolino, the director of store operations at Wawa, shared.

New full-time or part-time employees will start at an hourly wage of $15. In addition, they'll enjoy benefits that include health and wellness plans, tuition assistance, and an annual contribution to their 401(k) savings, provided they meet certain conditions.
Moreover, Wawa extends a share of ownership to its team through an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), underlining its commitment to its workforce. Presently, the company is nearly 38% employee-owned via the ESOP, marking it as one of the country's top ten largest employee-owned companies.
