Dairy Queen is bringing back a favorite treat, the Cherry Cone Dip.

The company has announced the return of this popular sweet treat, which was stopped in May last year. This decision had left many fans disappointed.

Cherry-Dipped Cone Returns to Dairy Queen

Dairy Queen has good news for its fans: the Cherry Dipped Cone is returning, but it's only for a short period. A spokesperson for Dairy Queen shared with TODAY website the excitement surrounding the return of this beloved treat, which had been removed from the menu last year.

"Our customers love the Cherry Dipped Cone, and we're thrilled to offer it again for a short time at some of our stores," said the Dairy Queen representative. "We're always looking to mix things up by adding new items and bringing back favorites our customers miss."

Alongside the Cherry Dipped Cone, Dairy Queen's menu includes favorites like the Chocolate Dipped and Confetti Cake Dipped Cones. These sweet treats can be found listed on the company's website.

In May 2023, Dairy Queen announced it would stop offering its Cherry Dipped Cone. This decision became widely known after a Dairy Queen in Shelby Township, Michigan, shared a TikTok video about the dessert being discontinued.

Fans of the treat expressed their disappointment online, with the news creating a stir on social media. One user even humorously said, "I'm suing Dairy Queen."

Despite the disappointment, a Dairy Queen spokesperson mentioned that the company frequently changes its dipped cone flavors. They hinted that the Cherry Dipped Cone might make a return. Now, that time has come.

The return of the Cherry Dipped Cone has sparked happiness on social media, with many users expressing excitement about enjoying the treat again.
