It seems that the Guns N' Roses latest news may be a treat for fans: The band is rumored to have confirmed to do a tour.
This is according to the rumors that surfaced earlier this year about the band members' good relationship with each other, prompting fans to speculate an imitable comeback tour.
But in an interview with the Lead Guitarist, Slash, from Ottawa Citizen's report, he is not likely to be up for a reunion with the rest of his former band members, he's not even open to the idea of it.
"I have a lot less distractions - a lot less, at least, unnecessary distractions - in the situation that I'm in now. What I intended to do from the get go was never really that complicated. But success and money and all that kind of stuff, it just makes life complicated."
As quoted from Ottawa Citizen, "He's been called a rock and roll purist, perhaps a euphemism for an aging axeman's place in a shifting music landscape. But Saul Hudson, a.k.a. Slash, grew up in this industry. His mother was a costume designer who worked with John Lennon and others and who was involved with David Bowie for a time after separating from Slash's father, according to the guitarist's autobiography. His father, who loved music, would eventually design album cover art. A young Slash got to see a side of the industry most kids never do."
Slash probably doesn't want to consider the possibility of a Guns N' Roses latest news reunion due to the rumored reasons of the band's split in the first place. Slash reportedly had a falling out with the band's lead singer, Axl Rose. They were supposedly in a feud because of the differences in how they deal with things involving them and the band, and ultimately, led to them hating each other.
Regardless, Slash is moving on with his life. With hopes of him reconsidering whether they reunite or not, fans can only speculate.
