Fans of the AMC thriller "The Walking Dead" have been pairing series favorite Daryl Dixon with Carol in the earlier seasons but in the last season, the viewers may have saw a spark between Daryl and Beth as the pair shared a significant amount of time together in season 4 before they got separated by a plot twist yet to be revealed.
However, in the trailer released for season five, Beth is still alive with a fair amount of gashes on her face. A hope of the two to be reunited awaits the fans.
When asked in an interview with "Entertainment Weekly" Radio, Emily Kinner (Beth) kept mum about it.
"You have to wait and find out," Kinney said in the radio interview. "I would say last season what you saw, there's definitely a connection, and a connection that's growing. And they care about each other a lot, and so there's definitely something really special there."
Fans have given the nickname "Bethyl" for Beth and Daryl and according to Entertainment Weekly Kinney was not so excited.
The report said that Kinney was mum on the location of Beth in the show but was able to share the fact that she was working alone in the first part of shooting in the season and not with the rest of the cast.
"It's kind of like Beth, I am sort of isolated," Kinney said. "All this stuff this season is really exciting and really awesome and I'm having a blast, but like last season, we were separated. So towards the end of the season I didn't get to work with Lauren, who's one of my best friends, or Steven. And plus, now the show is so big we all go and travel when we have time off so we don't get to see each other as much as we used to."
"The Walking Dead" season five returns on October 12, Sunday, 9/8 C on AMC.
