An 18-year marriage is officially coming to an end.
Television celebrity Randy Jackson and his wife Erika are officially ending their marriage as the latter filed for divorce on Friday due to irreconcilable differences.
The couple has two children together. Zoe, their daughter is 19 years of age and their younger son Jordan is 17 years old. In Randy's former marriage, he has another daughter named Taylor. This is Jackson's second marriage as his marriage to his first wife was dissolved last 1990.

He was a former judge in America's hit reality singing competition, American Idol for 12 seasons since 2002. He is also the executive producer for MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. Currently, Jackson stepped down as judge but came back as a mentor in American Idol. Jackson has also won a Grammy Award as a producer.
Jacskon has collaborated with several notable artists like Mariah Carey whom he had worked with all throughout her career. He has recorded, produced and toured with bands and famous artists like Whitney Houston, 'N Sync, Celine Dion, Fergie and Madonna.
In 2003, Jackson's weight dropped 52 kg or 114 pounds because of gastric bypass surgery. In February 2008, Jackson announced that he has Type 2 diabetes.
In the documents filed by Jackson's wife, she is seeking support for payment in the legal fees. She is also seeking for a joint legal custody for their kids and primary physical custody with "reasonable visitation" for Jackson. She has also filed for her name to be reverted to her maiden name, Erika Riker.
