Upcoming Nokia phones 2014 are now in different variants from a high-end smartphone to a cheap 'essential phone'.
Nokia had started to introduce phones that are affordable yet still functional. Last month, Nokia announced the Nokia130 Dual- Sim and Nokia 130 feature phone
Microsoft announced the roll-out on the Conversations blog and noted, "The Nokia 130 is a perfect device for people young and old alike who are looking for their first mobile phone, or for those looking for a rock-solid backup phone to use alongside their smartphone."
The Nokia 130 is now listed on Nokia India's website priced at Rs. 1,848 though a discounted price of Rs. 1,750 is available on SnapDeal.
Nokia 130 Dual SIM measure 106x45.5x13.9 mm, and weighs 68.6 grams and 67.9 grams; and has a 1.8-inch QQVGA 16-bit LCD color display with 128×160 pixel resolution and pixel density of 114ppi; it runs in Nokia S30 and features an expandable memory up to 32GB.
The phone does not come with a camera, but has built-in video player, flashlight and FM Radio.
It is powered by a 1020Mah lithium battery that Nokia claims it can last up to 864 hours of standby and 13 hours of talk time.
It come with a built in video player and MP3 player in addition to an FM Radio. The phone promises 46 hours of playback time on a single.
Its Connectivity options include 2G network support, Bluetooth 3.0 (with Nokia's Slam technology); and support Micro-USB for connection and charging.
The handsets were first be available in countries including China, Pakistan, and Nigeria. Meanwhile, the phones will be rolling out to more markets over the coming weeks. However, the company did not reveal names of the countries getting the feature phones next.
