'Once Upon a Time' Season 4 Spoilers: 'Frozen' Half Theme Will Be 'Never Give Up On The People You Love'

ABC's "Once Upon a Time" co-creators and show runners recently discussed the central them of the show's season four and how the world of Frozen is included.

In an interview with TVLine, "Once Upon a Time" co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz said the bond of the Frozen sisters Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna (Elizabeth Lail) inspired the theme of season four.

"Never give up on the people you love," Kitsis said, when asked to elaborate the theme of the upcoming season. "To us, that was the main inspiration about Anna. We loved that she never gave up on Elsa, even though Elsa was willing to go off and live alone and let it go. Anna was like, 'No, you're my sister and I love you no matter what.'"

Kitsis and Horowitz also added that Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) would have a relationship with one of the Frozen characters in the new season.

"I would say Prince Charming has an unexpected relationship with a Frozen character," Kitsis hinted. Following the flow of the previous season, the fourth season will be split up in two. Patterning that of season three's first half focusing on Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) and Neverland and the second half on the Wicked Witch (Rebecca Mader), the world of Frozen will be on the first half of season four.

According to Kitsis, the second half of the season will be revealed in the winter finale just like last year.

"Once Upon a Time" season four premiers on ABC, Sunday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
