GTA 6 rumors suggest new themes and a possible female character.
Grand Theft Auto 5 was a success. The new generation of Grand Theft Auto/GTA 5 will be released on November 18 for PS4 and Xbox One Live, and for the PC version you'll wait for a little longer until January 26, 2015. Rockstar already confirmed the release of the new generation of the popular smashing game.
According to Rocskstar's official statement, " "Rockstar Games is proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto V will arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014 with the PC version to follow January 27, 2015."
On the other hand, GTA 6 rumors are sprawling around that another installment might come into light.
This speculation 'may have started off when IGN cited a report from Develop where Rockstar president Leslie Benzies said that the firm is already courting on the possibilities of another sequel' according to ChristianPost.
"We've got about 45 years' worth of ideas we want to do. We don't know what GTA 6 will be, but we've got some ideas," he said.
Other reports claim that a new lead female character might emerge.
"In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course, we just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things that we always think about," he explained.
It was also speculated that the setting of GTA 6 would be in Mexico and Texas.
The border between the U.S. and Mexico is rife with criminals such as illegal immigrant smugglers (called "coyotes") and violent Mexican drug cartels, so the setting could possibly be ideal for a future Grand Theft Auto, from a report of AirHerald.
But from a statement of Rockstar Games president Leslie Benzies didn't give any hint of the upcoming GTA 6.
"Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas. In that context re- imagining Vice City would be very interesting."
GTA 6 rumors claim that it would take years before the launch of the new GTA 6.
