Apple iPhone 6 vs HTC One M8: both phones are enclosed in an aluminum metal frame; and are considered one of the powerful smartphones among the smartphones in the market today.

Let's take a look under their hoods which smartphone that offers more functional features.

The iPhone 6 like its predecessor boats a blend of glass and aluminium high-quality finish.

The HTC One M8 like the iPhone 6 is enclosed in an aluminum shell that comes in three different colors gunmetal, gold and artic silver looks sophisticated and its metal finish makes its durable.

The HTC One M8 produces 441ppi and comes with a 5-inch Super LCD screen.

While the Apple iPhone 6 carries a 4.7in saphire LED back-lit display with a 1334 x 750 resolution its Apple's new "Retina HD". That means you get a pixel density of 326ppi just like the iPhone 5S.

There's a big difference when it comes to their cameras. The HTC One M8 camera has a 4- megapixel rear-facing camera its ultra pixel camera offers high quality images though it has low megapixel count.

Apple is stuck with an 8MP rear camera like its 5s but improvef with its True Tone dual-LED flash, its aperture is still f/2.2 and the pixels are still bigger, at 1.5 microns. The 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM on the HTC One M8 makes its run smoothly and available in 32Gb and 16Gb internal memory; and expandable external memory up to 128Gb.

The iPhone 6 Plus is armed with a dual-core 64-bit A8 processor - an upgrade over the 5S' A7 processor, with Apple claims it is 25% faster, with 50% faster graphics and runs in its latest Apple iOS 8.

Meanwhile, iPhone 6 has a great advantage as a smartphone it offers health. Though it doesn't have a heart rate sensor it offers the M8 motion co- processor, which continuously gathers data from the built-in accelerometer, compass, gyroscope and barometer to measure steps, distance and elevation. Apple also introduces the 'Apple Pay' first ever digital payment available on smartphones and coerced with the major card providers Visa, Mastercard and American Express. This combines NFC, Touch ID and the card information stored in the Passbook app.
