Major Hannibal Season 3 spoiler alert everyone. Looks like will get to see again that intense bloody fight scene between Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Special Agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne). During the finale, the two former friends figured in a brutal knife match and fist fight that left Crawford gasping for air after Hannibal slit his neck. The sophisticated cannibal then fled the scene and was shown in the end part of the episode sitting on a plane with Dr. Bedelia (Gillian Anderson).
Executive Producer Bryan Fuller sat down with the Metro news and drop major teaser that will surely excite fans.
'I'm excited about the rematch between Hannibal and Jack Crawford,' he said.
Other than the rematch, another Hannibal Season 3 spoiler that Fuller drop is something about the show's transition from being a crime procedural drama into an 'intense psychological thriller.'
'The interesting thing about season 3 is that we are heading away from the crime procedural aspect of the story-telling, and it is very much a soap opera for the first half.
'There are some creative deaths but it's much more about our regular characters as opposed to a killer of the week coming in and creating these fantastic death tableau.
'We're really focusing on the relationships between these characters and the fallout from season 2 for the survivors who made it through the "Red Dinner".
'There's a slight evolution of the series in that way. The first half of the season I'm really excited about because it's more like an intense psychological thriller.'
Doctor Who's David Tennant for a role?
Bryan Fuller also said in the interview that he is eying Doctor Who's David Tennant for the show. He didn't say if it will only be a guest starring role or a recurring one. However, he insists that he really wants to make it happen.
'I'm a huge fan of David Tennant, and we've been trying to get him on the show for quite some time' he said.
'He's such a spectacular actor. He brings such an effervescence to every performance.
'I would love to have David on the show. Or just write for David! I would kill and eat somebody to work with David! He's my favourite Doctor.'
