Instead of Pizza Hut receiving a complaint from a customer waiting for their food, two police officers helped out by delivering the food that was supposed to be delivered by a driver who got into a car accident on the way.
Steve Huckins told KOIN that he and his wife were concerned on Sept. 1 when the officers showed up at their home, but they started laughing when they received the pizza. Little did they know the actual driver got into a car-accident earlier.
The Pizza Hut driver hurt his neck and back in the collision at an intersection, according to the report.
