On September 25, Victoria Beckham unveiled her new boutique store that is located at 36 Dover Street in London's West End. The flagship store was minimalist with no display window packed with glossy items. The store's interior was designed to have retractable shelving for the accessories and there were hexagon shaped golden chains hanging on the ceiling tracks where the clothes were hung. The store consists of three storeys made with refined materials and desined modernly.
Farshid Moussavi Architecture, a multi-award winning architect based in London, was the designer and created the concept of a flexible interior. Additional designs like mirror stainless steel counters and free-standing modular seats were present. Fitting rooms pretty large and were made with green glass and the stairways and flooring were concrete. Doors were sliding and the everything inside were bold and at the same time elegant.
The flagship store carries Victoria Beckham lines from accessories to clothing. There's the Victoria Beckham mainline and Victoria Beckham Denim. The store also offers small leather goods such as pouches and wallets. "Payment is with an iPad, so we can go to the customer on whatever floor she's on." said Victoria.
Victoria Adams Beckham is an English model, fashion designer, former singer and now a businesswoman. Victoria became popular in the 1990s when she joined an all-female group Spice Girls. Dubbed as Posh Spice, the singer and her team rose to fame when they released their first music video, Wannabe in 1996. She worked alongside her Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm. When the Spice Girls finally disbanded after their third album, Victoria tried to return to singing as a solo artist.
Victoria started dating football star David Beckham in 1997 and got married two years after. They have four children together: Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David, and daughter Harper Seven.
