'Sherlock' Season 4 spoilers suggest that new characters might join the cast, and it is expected to premiere on 2016.
There is no exact date of the Season 4's premiere because of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman's busy schedule. It was reported that they will start filming the TV series starting on January 2015 and it will air on December 2015 but no specific dates yet. Although, it will depend on two actor's commitment as reports were told that they are still in demand to film other films.
Producer Sue Vertue told Radio Times that they are working on the dates already. "We're working on it. We're working on dates," she said. Co- producer Steven Moffat added: "We'll get them made as quickly as we can."
In a Recent interview Martin Freeman hinted about the upcoming season, "It's going to be full of surprises for you, and for us and for everybody. I think we just know to expect the unexpected now,' he said. 'What has been explained to me and Ben [Cumberbatch] and Amanda Abbington - my missus who plays Mary - has been very exciting,' he continued. He also added that there might be a possible spin-off of the popular tv series.

Well, they kissed in the previous season. That event might blossom into somethig else as the kissing scene raved the fans.
Tom Hiddleston might play Sherrinford Holmes.
There is a possibility that the third Holmes will appear in the upcoming season. In an interview in Brazil with Mark Gatiss co- creator of 'Sherlock' joked about Tom joining the cast. "Tom would be wonderful in 'Sherlock. But he only does movies now. What can I say? I'll ask him if you like."
Irene Adler won't come back.
"The danger is you have a successful character like Irene Adler and she makes a massive impact because that story is so perfect, but if she then moves in around the corner, it becomes a bit cozy," Gatiss told Digital Spy.
'Sherlock' Season 4 premiere date will be in two years but it's worth the wait.
