'James Bond 24' Movie is rumored to be released in 2015, but details on the upcoming movie are minimal.

In a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" session over the weekend Idris Elba, Pacific Rim star, showed his interest in playing Bond's role.

According to the Independent . One of the users asked the "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" actor if he would play 007 in a future installment.

"Yes, if it was offered to me, absolutely", the 42-year-old Idris Elba.

Reports also claims that he will be the next to play the highly acclaimed James Bond role after Daniel Craig's tenure ship. Craig is currently filming 'James Bond 24' movie.

The Wire star is set to voice tiger villain Shere Khan in Disney's live-action remake of The Jungle Book, also claims that he 'enjoys' villain roles.

"I find villains way more compelling to unearth their psyche. Writers love writing for villains because they can get a lot more off their chest, and it just means a lot more stuff for the actor to do," he said. "But good guys are also a challenge, because if you don't get the balance between being real and being, you know, a stereotypically good guy, your character can come across as corny. So each has its challenges, but I think being a bad guy has more."

Meanwhile, Roger Moore told the upcoming 'James Bond 24' movie star about ' being so serious' in his franchise films.

"I don't think there's time for humour in the ones that I've seen with Daniel Craig. He moves so fast and the action is so good, there's been no time for jokes," Moore said. "I've heard that they possibly are inserting a few throwaway lines [into 'Bond 24'] but I don't think it matters because he's just so damned good."

'James Bond 24' movie will be one of the last two Bond movies of Daniel Craig.
