'Stalker' season 1 will premiere on the October 1, bringing TV favorites Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott to screens again.
'Nikita' star Maggie Q and 'American Horror Story' actor Dylan McDermott will be co-stars in what CBS has dubbed as a 'psychological thriller.'
They will be working together in an LAPD special department, Threat Assessment Unit, as Lieutenant Beth Davis (Maggie Q) and Detective Jack Larsen (McDermott).
Unlike normal crime dramas, which take on actual killers and the likes, 'Stalker' will deal with crimes that rely heavily on a person's mental state such as cyber harassment, romantic fixation, voyeurism and more.
Victor Rasuk will join the teams as the young and eager detective Ben Caldwell. Mariana Klaveno will be the super smart member of the Threat Assessment Unit.
Deadline previously reported that 'Law & Order' actress Elizabeth Rohm will also join 'Stalker' season 1 as Deputy District Attorney Amanda Tate.
With a script by Kevin Williamson, best known for his work on 'The Secret Circle,' 'The Vampire Diaries,' and 'Dawson's Creek' as well as the movie, 'I Know What You Did Last Summer,' CBS has indeed piqued viewers' interest for all things creepy in this show.
In a recent report, E! News described the trailer for the new CBS show as "chilling" and "scary as hell." It is also promises scenes that could induce "realistic, that-could-totally-happen-to-you nightmares."
It is reportedly too daunting for viewers that are easily scared. According to the publication, if you can't handle eerie shows, then "bail out now because it's only going to get way more intense as the season goes forward."
However, watch 'Stalker' season 1 if you already miss Maggie Q being cool on TV. It would also be interesting to see McDermott go from a cheating psychiatrist who treats ghosts to a "wild card" detective who pursues psychos.
