Jessie J New Single ‘Burning Up’ Featuring 2 Chainz Finally Released: How Does ‘Sweet Talker’ Singer React To Being Compared With Other Pop Artists

After announcing the release date of her 'Sweet Talker' single, 'Burning Up' a few days ago, the Jessie J new single has been unleashed to fans and people hearing it couldn't be more excited for what's next to come from the multi-talented songstress.

The 26-year-old English singer-songwriter broke through the charts just in 2011 with her single "Price Tag" and has since been a household name in pop, soul, and hip-hop fusion music. Cementing herself as a serious artist as the showed the world the boldness of her music, she continued on with other hits as included in her "Who You Are" album that carries her breakthrough song.

Among the other singles in her first album included "Who You Are", "Nobody's Perfect", and "Who's Laughing Now" - all of which topped the UK charts. Although her first single "Price Tag" fared bravely among charts worldwide, Jessie J still has to make a solid impression in American charts as a unique and inimitable performer.

Her critics have continually compared her with American pop stars as Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus. Upon the release of Jessie J new single in 2011 "Price Tag", critics have expressed how this spunky beat may feel a little bit Miley Cyrus than an brave new comer. It was compared to the ex-Disney starts "Party in the U.S.A." in 2009 as was co-written by Jessie J.

Although Popjustice praised Jessie J's new single "Price Tag" as "ridiculously addictive introduction to an effortlessly great, new(ish) talent", apparently according to US charts, Jessie J has still yet to break American records.

According to DigitalSpy.co.uk in an interview with the singer, Jessie J comments on these comparisons as "naïve and lazy comparisons"

The Jessie J new single for 2014 "Burnin' Up' features American hip hop artist 2 Chainz ("No Lie", "I'm Different") and is featured in the third solo album "Sweet Talker" scheduled for release this coming October.
