Kris Jenner And Bruce Jenner Divorce: Kris Files For Divorce By Irreconcilable Differences; Couple Share Custody With Minor Kylie

| By

After almost two decades of marriage, Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner are now officially ending their marriage after the former filed for divorce, reports said.

According to the document filed on September 22, and obtained by E! News, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" matriarch filed for divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Kris cited irreconcilable differences as the reason of their divorce, and asked for joint custody of their minor daughter Kylie Jenner, 17.

Based on the document, Kris and Bruce separated on June 1, 2013. They acknowledged their breakup in October.

This is the second divorce for Kris as she was married to Robert Kardashian for 13 years, having Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Rob.

Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner told E! News in October last year that they are "living separately and are much happier this way." But they acknowledged that love and respect would still be given to each other and that family would always be put first.

"But we will always have much love and respect for each other," they said. "Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

"I would rather have him in my life as a friend than not in my life at all," said Kris.

Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner were married in 1991 after a month of her divorce finalization from Kadarshian, according to Los Angeles Times.

Although they have separated, the duo still celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary on April 21. In fact she posted on her social media account how she loves Bruce, clipping a throwback photo.

"Happy Anniversary to one of the most amazing men I know!!! I love you, Wow 23 years!!!!! #love #weareofficiallyvintage"

According to TMZ, the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement. The two have already agreed to a property split, the report added.

LA Times said in its report that Kris wants their other properties be divided later, but her jewelry and assets after their split up date would be kept to her.
