'Fantastic Four' release date has been confirmed on August 7, 2015 two months later than its original premiere date that was June 15, 2015.
"Fantastic Four" has bumped from its June 15, 2015 date to August 7, 2015, replacing "Assassin's Creed." The film was directed by Josh Trank ( "Chronicle" ) and shot this past summer,according to reports from Variety.
The 'titular foursome' are played by; Kate Mara ("House of Cards" ) as Susan Storm /The Invisible Woman , Michael B. Jordan ("Friday Night Lights" ) as Johnny Storm /Human Torch , Miles Teller ("Divergent" ) as Reed Richards /Mr. Fantastic and Jamie Bell ("Billy Elliott" ) Ben Grimm/ The Thing.
Toby Kebbell ("Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," "Wrath of the Titans") is set to portray the villainous Victor von Doom. A 2017 sequel is already in the works.

Meanwhile, 'Assasin's Creed' release date is "TBD". According to ScreenRant, " the problem is that basically the production of Assassin's Creed is taking forever. The script has been rewritten and there have been scheduling delays. Fantastic Four, on the other hand, is humming right along, apparently, so it's getting pushed to August 7th.
Jeff Sneider tweeted about the upcoming movie: "I know Fassbender is passionate about ASSASSIN'S CREED but both of those UBISOFT projects are struggling right now. SPLINTER CELL included."
