The New J.lo Iggy Azalea Booty Music Video has got all heads turned.
Upon its release last September 18, the infamous video has already garnered over 28 Million views, and is only getting more views each minute.
The video features the two artists, Iggy (twenty-four years old) and J.lo (forty-five years old) slapping each other's behinds and grinding against each other. They are seen twerking and making their behinds bounce while they are dressed in sexy "barely there" body suits, and covered in oil. Needless to say, the two performers showed a whole lot of skin, and backed it up with the attitude that comes along with it.
While it is indeed a plus for numerous fans, others seem to be taking the video offensively, saying that it is a perfect example of why women are almost always objectified in the entertainment industry, and in their normal lives. Rumors have surfaced that certain women's rights groups have tried to approach the "Love don't cost a thing" singer's team and have asked to take the video down and instead release an edited version that doesn't show much skin and grinding. It is also rumored that these groups have approached Iggy's team for a possible action.
However, there have been rumors that Iggy and J.lo's camp have not been taking responsibility for what might come out of the J.lo Iggy Azalea Booty Music Video. It is speculated that they do not want to take part in any actions that they are being suggested to do to take back what their video has caused. This has been viewed as a negative move, as they are basically contributing to the hot topic of women being objectified.
Objectifying of women causes numerous illegal cases around the world, like rape, and domestic violence. Generally, this equates to gender inequality.
