The Blacklist Season 2 Trailer Released: Hunt For Berlin Starts; See The Things You Need To Know Before The Show Returns

| By

The Blacklist Season 2 trailer has been released and in less than two minutes, the clip raised more questions than answers. Berlin, played Peter Stomare, is coming to town and he's out for blood. However, on the video, it looks like Berlin is not the only one that James Spader's Raymond Reddington has to deal with. Red will have his hands full with all the criminals chasing him while at the same time protecting Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone). Looks like Lord Baltimore will get the better of him.

In The Blacklist Season 2 trailer, Liz continues to work with Reddington in hunt for the world's most notorious criminals and war heads. However, while they are busy putting a cross mark on the names in Red's list, Keen is turning into a liability as the clip showed that she was captured by Lord Baltimore. The second season's first main villain told on the phone that she will send Keen to Red 'pieces by pieces' just like what Red did to her daughter. Why is Reddington risking his life for Keen? Are they related? Is she his daughter?

In earlier The Blacklist season 2 spoiler, Executive Producer John Eisendrath finally answered the last question.

"I think everybody's smart enough who watches the show to know the answer's no. I do think it's our obligation to give concrete answers like we did there. And if we're going to give concrete reversals like the burn scars, we do owe answers to what does that mean," Spader told Buddy TV.

If you think the recently-released The Blacklist Season 2 trailer didn't give you enough of what you need to know, here other things to expect in the show's return.

From TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich:

Get ready to meet Red's little friend! Literally. Episode 5 of the NBC hit's second season will introduce us to Glen, a "diminutive" DMV wonk who has a long history with Spader's character. Also being cast for that episode is the recurring role of Zoe, a "worn but pretty" woman who holds no less than the key to Red's past.

In an interview with Playboy, Spader said:

"People will see this season is different because we're able to play with things that make a better show, like story and character.

"We're not building a foundation anymore, which is what we spent last year doing. There are a lot of changes."
