What comes around goes around.
A woman in Russia filmed herself as she went around catching litterers red-handed in the act of throwing their garbage on the streets, and to teach them a lesson, she returned their trash to them.
The video opens up with the words, “I want to live in a clean city” and from there, a series of different scenes where people in vehicles throw their trash outside their car windows only for it to be returned to them by the said Russian woman. According to the Daily Mail UK, the unnamed woman was armed with nothing but a camera and a streetwise attitude.
In one video, the woman, noticed the driver of a red car drop her empty cigarette packet on the streets even though there is a trashcan within a few feet away from her. To teach the the litterer a lesson, the biker picked up an entire ash tray loaded with cigarette butts and tossed the entire contents through the window of the car covering the driver in ash.
Another incident showed a man in a silver vehicle who threw a bottle out the window. The biker rushed to the man’s right side of the car and taped the bottle to his side mirror before quickly running off.
As humurous and heroic as the video may seem, a lot of people are still questioning the authenticity of the video. Stated in an article from the Huffington Post, many netizens have praised the biker and her anti-littering campaign but are still not sure if this was true or staged. "This seems really, really fake," wrote one YouTuber Tuesday.
