Maybe, it's because Nick Carter was the remaining bachelor of the Backstreet Boys that got hitched early this year that's why it is interesting to see him in a wedding suit, sobbing while reading his vows, and then passionately kissing his lovely wife, Lauren Kitt for about a minute. All the spectable for the photographers to document and the videographers to upload and play later on in YouTube. Maybe. In a way, the Nick Carter-Lauren Kitt wedding photos say it all.
"We documented our wedding and it's something we could show our kids. Something we could look back," said Nick, in a Perez Hilton interview to promote his reality TV show, I Heart Nick Carter, depicting his life as a married man and his music career as boy band member. The show, that premiered September 10, is shown every Wednesday at 10pm.
Without bothering to know first the identity of the couple tying the knot in the fanciful photos taken April 12, 2014 in Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara, California, a looker can have the mistake of seeing the pictures as part of a marketing catalogue for a wedding events company, complete with contractors and suppliers for wedding gowns, coordinators, resorts, and other products and services associated with holding a wedding. And the 'models' happened to be Nick Carter and his fitness guru wife, Lauren Kitt. An unsuspecting viewer would say the duo are awesome, they acted their roles well.
But they're not. The pictures depict real life and they will be shown again in the I Heart Nick Carter show.
Why did Nick Carter agree on the show in the first place? Part of the answer is, "It's to show how hard it is for my wife to be in a relationship with me." In a more emotional way, he also said, "I want to show people how good she is for me, and how much better I am now...I want people to see how in love I was, how happy I am. How proud I am to have great support system like her."
According to Nick, everything on the reality show was what he and Lauren would want to be seen. They made sure they only show what they are both comfortable to share with the public. "We didn't act out anything other than how we live," Nick said.
"Fans are being supportive now of what I do. They love what I do as singer, writer, performer, dancer. I have that to fall back onto. A true fan will stay there and be there no matter what," Nick said, confidently alluding to the support the same fans would give for the reality show.
On the business side of things, Nick said, "It's the management decision. They know what's best for me."Lauren rebutted, "it's not just you now, it's us." "Yes, it's us," says Nick.
