“All watches tell time. This one helps you make the most of it.
It’s an incredibly accurate timepiece. A device that helps you stay on schedule, in touch, and headed in the right direction. And a health and fitness companion that never stops thinking of ways for you to be more active and fit. Apple Watch is all these things. Which makes it so much more than just a watch. But precisely what we think a watch should be.”
This is how one of the biggest phone company depicted the upcoming Apple watch that will possibly be launched on the first quarter of 2015.
It lets you display and express your personality with it’s sleek and stylish design with a wide array of watch faces and straps to choose from. In an article from the Times, the price of the watch may start at $349.
Before the idea of the Apple Watch, Jony Ive and his team went through alot of brain storming and consultancy with different watch experts including French author Dominique Fléchon, an expert in antique timepieces.
Jony Ive, a design legend over the past 15 years and the Senior Vice President for Design at Apple Inc., Ive tells Bloomberg Businessweek that the project was conceived three years ago shortly after Steve Job’s death. “It’s probably one of the most difficult projects I have ever worked on” he says.
The public was given a peek of what the new invention would look and be like and people had different reactions to it. In a survey from Forbes, most people gave a thumbs up for the upcoming ‘it’ watch.

The Apple Watch, in my eyes, will be an innovative productivity tool that will create a competitive advantage for those who can properly apply it. By providing a convenient notification dashboard, alerts for specific usage, etc. the Apple Watch could help our users to be even more active and productive while managing and sharing their files. Whether you categorize it as a device or simply a wearable, it has the potential to be an excellent productivity tool.”
Even the COO of HighQ, Stuart Barr said, “Thumbs up. It’s great to see Apple prove it can still innovate.
