In previous The Flash CW series spoiler, what fans often read are about Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) or the upcoming villains. One character though that viewers need to watch once the show premieres on October 7 is Tom Cavanagh's Dr. Harrison Wells. Why? Well, it is because there's no The Flash if there's no Dr. Wells, the brain and money behind Central City’s S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator. While Barry Allen found incredible speed after the laboratory exploded, Dr. Wells became a pariah. He was forcefully stuck in a wheelchair. Although he appears like a baggage that will slow down the Flash, Cavanagh insists that there is more to his character.
CW has released a new video promo for their new show featuring the Providence and Ed alum. There, Cavanagh talked about his character and what will be his role in the life of the fastest man earth.
“In the first episode, we meet him and he's on the verge of a massive advancement discovery and everything goes wrong,” he stated.
“The ends up on a wheelchair and it looks like that could be it, that could be all there is to the story.”
“But as he goes about making amends with his ability with his team it becomes clear that maybe there's more to it than righting the wrong.”
Dr. Wells is just one of many characters that will affect Barry Allen's life both as his real self and as a superhero in a big way. However, with all the villains around, it is still uncertain how long will he stay alive.
In previous The Flash CW Series Spoiler, it was revealed that Blackout/Farooq will be out to take on revenge against Dr. Wells and the Flash might not be there to save him because the superhero was also hit badly.
"Looks like Central City will get hit with a Blackout in Episode 7, when Farooq, an electricity-wielding metahuman, seeks vengeance against Dr. Wells (played by Tom Cavanagh). Flash to the rescue? Mayyyybe not, seeing as Barry will be suffering a "powers" outage just when this new baddie arrives," TV Line's Matt Webb Mitovich said last September 5.
