'Castle' Season 7 reveals that there still a possibility that Rick and Kate will tie the knot.
The Season 6 ended in a horrible way and fans were not pleased. The couple were about to get married when Rick was on his way to the church had an accident and Kate was left on her wedding dress.
A report from International times states that "Season 7 will start with Beckett finding out that Castle was not inside the burning car. It will be both relieving and shocking for her to find out in the episode."
According to spoilers Kate will conduct her own investigation to find out who was behind the accident. It is reported that Rick's car accident will not be solved right away after a few episodes. Executive producer David Amann's statement to TV Guide supported the idea.
"After the second episode, the audience will have some but not all of the answers about what exactly is going on ... It's a sufficient amount [of resolution] that the characters can move and get back to life as they knew it, but the effects of what happened to Castle will re- emerge and re-assert themselves later in the season."
Showrunner Andrew Marlowe also revealed more 'Castle' Season 7 spoilers to Give Me My Remote.
"That's really her focus and her mission. She's going to do that, and she's going to take that as far as she can go to get answers. That's what she's focused on," he said.
The producers mentioned in an interview that the new season hinges on the 'people or group' behind the attack against Castle. This implies a new villain in the upcoming season. Reports also claimed that Rick will deal with a serial killer named 3XK.
As everyone's expected there still a wedding on the upcoming season. Andrew Marlowe told TV Line, "We have something planned that we're kind of excited about, and we hope that people come back and play along. We know that we owe them a wedding that accurately reflects who Castle and Beckett are."
'Castle' Season 7 premieres Sept. 29, 9 p.m on ABC.
