Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin met with friends and were spotted having an affectionate date at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, an eyewitness reportedly told E! News. It would seem that the couple is taking their relationship out in public after Coldplay's frontman's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly approved of the relationship.
The eyewitness revealed to E! News that, "They seem very comfortable in each other's company-and happy! It doesn't seem like it's a new relationship. They seem super affectionate and at ease with each other."
The article also revealed that the Coldplay frontman was constantly rubbing JLaw's back or holding her hand.
Hollywood Life sources also said that friends seemed to support Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin's relationship, as the latter's friends "welcomed her warmly" during their dinner.
Celebuzz also reported that Jennifer seemed at ease to meet her boyfriend's friends. According to the article, a source in fact described Jennifer as, "very gregarious and confident."
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin started dating this summer, and Hollywood Life reported that their relationship looked like it was getting more and more serious with time.
"Jennifer has met Chris' friends - this is a huge step in any relationship, especially given Chris' serious relationship experience! He wouldn't introduce just any woman to his friends," the report said.
Meanwhile, another source for E! News said that Gwyneth Paltrow is "very happy" for Chris. She also pointed out that she "can see why Jennifer is a good match for Chris...There are actually some amazing similarities between Jennifer and Gwyneth and how they view life and career, and so Gwyneth knows that ultimately Jennifer has the power to make Chris happy in the long term."
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin also went on a "super romantic date" in a vineyard for her 24th birthday, reports said.
