After much speculation on the delay, "Serena" movie trailer and release date information is finally out.
"Serena" is the drama film directed by Susanne Bier, based on the best-selling novel by Ron Rash first released in 2008. The novel focuses on the life of Serena Pemberton played by Jennifer Lawrence and George Pemberton played by Bradley Cooper, and the couple's struggle to build a timber empire and begin a family. Conflict rises as both business and family goals of the couple are met with glaring difficulties such as dishonest business partners and Serena's inability to bear children, respectively.
"Serena" movie trailer came out featuring Lawrence and Cooper in their second movie as a couple, with the first one the acclaimed "Silver Linings Playbook". This 2012 movie received numerous awards worldwide, including nominations in the Oscars, Golden Globe, and BAFTA. Jennifer Lawrence won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Tiffany Maxwell in the movie.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Jennifer Lawrence talks about her co-star Bradley Cooper in their second movie together as a couple. She says, "We get on really well. Professionally it is like finding your co-star soulmate. Although I bet if I said, 'Hey, Bradley, want to do a dance movie with me? He'd run for the hills."
"Serena" was shot in the Spring of 2012 in the Czech Republic. Delays in its release date spurred major speculations that the film will never be released. Speculations about the delay varied, from Jennifer Lawrence's unavailability to re-record audio due to conflict in schedule to the rumor that "Serena" had yet to find a distributor.
To date, official reports on "Serena" movie release date reveal that the movie will premier at The London Film Festival and released on October 24. Although no news yet on its US debut, at least fans are seeing the movie come out. The powerful "Serena" movie trailer however has been unleashed online.
