Finally Apple refreshed its line of iPhones creating larger screens.
Now, that it's already launched. Will it be a tough competition between Samsung Galaxy S5 one of Android's acclaimed smartphone? Let's compare these two powerful smartphones.
Design and Screen
The iPhone 6 like its predecessor is still a blend of glass and aluminium high-quality finish. While the Samsung Galaxy S5 still sticks with its boring plastic design but waterproof and durable build.
Apple iPhone 6 is relatively larger than the iPhone 5s but still smaller than Samsung Galaxy S5.

Its front camera has a new sensor, a better aperture and better low-light photographs. It's also able to use the Burst mode.
Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S5 boasts a 16MP double than of the iPhone 6. Its 2-megapixel front camera. automatically get the airbrush treatment through the Beauty Face mode. Perfect for the selfie addict.
Performance
The iPone 6 Plus is armed with a dual-core 64-bit A8 processor - an upgrade over the 5S' A7 processor, with Apple claims it is 25% faster, with 50% faster graphics and runs in its latest Apple iOS 8.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is supported by 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor is at the top of its game and runs in the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat.
Apple has finally improved its storage. The iPhone 6 Plus comes with 128Gb internal storage and other models offers 64GB and 16GB. Whereas, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes with 32GB and 64GB internal storage models and expandable external storage up to 128GB.
Features
The Samsung Galaxy S5 boasts its heart rate ensor. The first smartphone to sport Health Apps.
The iPhone 6 also features health. Though it doesn't have a heart rate sensor it offers the M8 motion co-processor, which continuously gathers data from the built-in accelerometer, compass, gyroscope and barometer to measure steps, distance and elevation.
Apple also introduces the 'Apple Pay' first ever digital payment available on smartphones and coerced with the major card providers Visa, Mastercard and American Express. This combines NFC, Touch ID and the card information stored in the Passbook app.
Verdict
Both phones offers functional features. But still it'll depend if you're an Apple or Android fan.
