Online buzz about Paris Jackson, pregnant, engaged and sporting a baby bump surged online this week as reports quote a mystery source.
The late Michael Jackson's only daughter, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson has been a regular mainstay in tabloids and online news. Born in April 3, 1998, the 16-year-old is a budding actor, with a film in 2014 titled "Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys" playing the main character, Lundon O'Mailey. She has also appeared in numerous television shows as herself, mainly guesting in special documentaries about her father, and some talk shows as "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2011 and "Oprah's Next Chapter" in 2012.
After her father's death, the young Jackson has been the target of paparazzi as people tuned in the life of Michael's kids. Up until her attempted suicide in June 2013, Paris was a constant update in online news pages. After her attempt to slit her wrist with a kitchen knife failed, the daughter of the King of Pop retreated from the limelight and lived a relatively quieter life.
Recently, numerous online news reported of a source seeing Paris Jackson pregnant with a baby bump, and is engaged to an unknown boyfriend. UK Daily Star reports that the source said, "I saw [Paris] at dinner and she twice made a toast drinking water instead of wine. That and the prominent stomach bulge got people talking."
Fans of Michael Jackson rallied and took to Twitter, with some saying "The media is stupid, saying Paris Jackson is pregnant because she toasted with water instead of wine...WTF she's 16 she can't drink wine..." (@YadiValdivia).
Updates on this issue reveal that the "source" quoted by online news like the UK Daily Times, ibTimes et al., were actually based on a parody website known as Mediamass. Reportedly, this site also published the story of Paris and her boyfriend shopping for an engagement ring (released late last week) followed by an article on Paris' pregnancy (released early this week). The Paris Jackson pregnant with a baby bump, and is engaged is outright outrageous rumors.
