Update:
Captain America 3 director Joe Russo spoke with Wall Street Journal , commenting about the Avengers 2 teaser:
"We've seen what everyone else has seen that was at Comic-Con," said Russo. "We saw that incredible two minutes of footage from it. It looks like the biggest movie ever made, so we're very excited for it. We have read the script. It's incredible. I think Joss [Whedon] is going to blow people away with this one."
Director for the Avengers 2 Joss Whedon says the sequel will be "A little scarier, a little funkier, but in the end they're still the same extraordinary characters. And a lot of humor and yes...there will be some punching."

Just when you thought you've heard everything about the forthcoming sequel of the Avengers franchise, Age of Ultron, a new rumor surfaces.
Badass Digest has offered new angles and a few interesting details on how the sequel's direction could take a new turn. We've been hearing bits of Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel, who might sneak in a part at Age of Ultron.
A statement from Badass (reportedly taking from an early draft of the script) gives key details (via screencrush):
"At the end of 'Age of Ultron' Cap will assemble a team that is a mix of familiar and new faces, leading forward into Phase Three. It's an exciting mission statement for Marvel Studios, letting audiences know that the Avengers team is more than just the guys who were in the first film. The make-up of that team is, technically, up in the air until that scene is shot (I suspect it's being saved for either scheduled reshoots or will be snuck into the schedule of 'Captain America 3,' which goes before cameras early next year), but Joss Whedon's script did indicate who would be on that team. I won't reveal all the names - and some have changed in between drafts, by the way - but one character who has always been in this new team is Captain Marvel."
Doctor Strange? Ms. Marvel? Perhaps a whole new group like the Inhumans could make their introduction in Avengers 2. Marvel has been vague about doing crossovers in their films, which is good to keep the series fresh and exciting.
We'll certainly see how the team, new characters introduced or not, will work together in Avengers 2 because of the fact that Ultron is a byproduct of Stark's technology - this could invite tension into the group blaming one of their own, leading them to a divide where they could easily be conquered
