Nicki Minaj "Anaconda" music video is racy, but the singer made it racier when she performed it live like she is "basically having sex on stage."
According to reports, the girl rapper was "basically having sex on stage" when she performed at Fashion Rocks 2014.
Minaj entertained the crowd with her "Anaconda" song "and apparently her set was so raunchy, producers warned some of her show may have to be cut so it would be acceptable to broadcast on CBS Live," Cover Media said on its report.
A source told Radar Online that "her moves were crazy. The camera crew had to cut away from her dancing at one point because she was basically having sex on stage."
The source also said the producers had difficulty working with Minaj because of her unwillingness to modify her show into more acceptable material on television.
At one point, the source added, the "Bang Bang" singer allegedly became mad when she was denied of extra time for rehearsal.
"She was acting completely out of control, and threatened to walk off the show. The CBS executives told her she was being inappropriate, and that she should leave," the source said.
On a separate report, Billboard accounted that Minaj criticized CBS producers for purportedly altering parts of her "Anaconda" performance that she wanted her fans to watch and see.
On her Twitter, she expressed her disappointment on the incident, saying: "Barbz, I'm sorry about those angles. They told us they'd go wide, never mentioned they'd shoot the audience instead. Big learning experience."
She became detailed about the Nicki Minaj "Anaconda" on her post to Instagram where she shared a photo during the performance.
The photo was captioned: "My darlingz, I wish you could've seen the choreography on the 2nd verse of ANACONDA last night. It was absolutely divine. CBS decided not to show it. Had they told us this before, we would have changed the choreo so that you guys could see the full performance from beginning to end. They already had you tuned in tho. Artists spend so much of their own money, time and passion to deliver their fans great performances. But ultimately, our art usually falls into the hands of people who care nothing about our art and creativity. Promise you'll get to see this new choreo soon."
