Zlatan Ibrahimovic Says He Should Be Banned 40 Games For If Found Guilty Of Elbowing David Alaba Of Austria

| By

When it comes to confidence on and off the court, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's trust in himself is unparalleled. In Sweden's Euro 2016 qualifiers match with Austria, he failed to treat his fans to another exquisite shot. There was no acrobatic kick from Zlatan but fans didn't go home without getting something from the Paris Saint-Germain striker.

In true Zlatan manner, the Paris Saint Germain striker provided the best highlights of the game. He didn't score but being himself is already enough to entertain football fans worldwide. Austrian player Rubin Okotie dared to touch Zlatan Ibrahimovic during one play. Read it again, the unknown Okotie tried to touch Zlatan. Why would he do that? Alright, because it's football. Nevertheless, the Swedish football hero didn't like the physical contact with Okotie and his response was quite funny. Something that only Zlatan Ibrahimovic can pull off. The PSG striker gave his Austrian defender a death stare as if saying, “You've got nerves to do something like that, huh?

The vine of that play has gone viral in just a matter of hours. The internet loves him so much.

After the game, the Swedish star again filled headlines. That is after he said that he should be banned 40 matches. Of course, he was saying it in a sarcastic tone. His comments roots from one playing involving Austria's David Alaba. During the first-half, the all-time leading scorer knocked off Alaba while the Bayern Munchen player was trying to steal the ball. Zlatan was booked but the Austrian defender thinks the PSG striker should have been sent off. Again, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a perfect, sarcastic response.

"He [Alaba] goes into me twice and the third time I try to shield the ball and he is 1.5m or 1.6m tall and then it's clear that he's struck by my elbow," Ibrahimovic told reporters after the match.

"But the referee blew for a free-kick so of course he has got the situation under control.

"But if not, I should get a 40-match ban!"

Well, only Zlatan can do a Zlatan.
