"Harry Potter" author JK Rowling demonstrates wit and composure as she replies to a fan's comment about making Hogwarts Headmaster Dumbledore gay.
JK Rowling, also known for her pen name Robert Galbraith is the creator of the Harry Potter series popular worldwide since it's first release in 1997. Following the success of the book and movie releases of the seven Harry Potter books, JK Rowling news shows that the author is the best-selling UK author, raking up to $4million in sales.
Early in 2007 during an audience Q&A, Rowling was asked by a fan if Dumbledore had been in love. In a surprising statement, the author shared, "I always thought of Dumble as gay. Dubledore fell in love with Grindelwald, and that added to his horror when Grindelwald showed himself to be what he was. I was in a script read-through for the sixth film, and they had Dumbledore saying a line to Harry early in the script saying he knew a girl one, [and] I had to write a little note in the margin and slide it along to the scriptwriter: 'Dumbledore's gay!'"
In a recent ranting by a certain Frank Fraticelli in Twitter, he comments about the character Dumbledore and the confession of Rowling that the beloved headmaster is in fact, gay. He tweets, "Once u revealed Dumbledore was homosexual I stopped being a fan. Nice how u blindsided us with that one. Enjoy your billion $."
JK Rowling news reported that the author replied, "I advise you to start following Brian Souter at once. He's much more your kind of person."
Souter is a Scottish businessman who has reportedly financed a "campaign to maintain a teaching ban in schools regarding the acceptance of homosexuality", according to E!online.
To date, JK Rowling news reveals a new "Harry Potter" short story of Celestina Warbeck in Pottermore.com.
