Katy Perry Taylor Swift Feud: Popstars In War! Katy Calling Taylor On Twitter A 'Regina George' In Sheep's Clothing!

| By

Looks like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are in a silent war!

Taylor Swift is known to write about her exes thru her songs, but this time, it looks like the country singer-turned-popstar has targetted enemies too!

During an interview with Rolling Stones magazine awhile back, Taylor said that her 'frenemy' "tried to sabotage an entire arena", she further said that, "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not, she would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life? She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational - you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

Katy perry then tweeted "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..." a couple of hours later.

Sound weird? Yup, we thought so. Apparently according to TMZ,

"The girl-on-girl war ignited when 3 of Taylor's dancers jumped ship and joined Katy's tour. Taylor felt betrayed because she became very close to the dancers and considered them family. But here's the thing. The 3 dancers had actually worked with Katy first, but when Katy's tour ended several years ago they needed work. So they signed up as dancers during Taylor's tour. We're told the dancers told Taylor up front they did not want to sign for the full tour -- they wanted a 30-day out, and we're told it's because they were just waiting for Katy to go back on tour. When Katy hit the stage again, they gave their 30-day notice, but Taylor got so pissed off she fired them on the spot. All of this went down a year ago but we're told Taylor held a grudge, which boiled over when she wrote a song -- 'Bad Blood' -- alluding to Katy screwing her over."

A source exclusively told Hollywoodlife.com that "Katy and Taylor are the definition of oil and water. They both have completely opposite personalities and Taylor just rubs Katy the wrong way. Katy feels that everything Taylor does is completely fake and annoying and she really doesn't care for her." The source further added, "Katy has had many talks with and heard stories from John Mayer about Taylor and she's convinced [the 'Shake It Off' singer] is a conniving b***h, who is only out to benefit herself. Katy dislikes fake people and she thinks that Taylor is the queen of fake people. Katy can read through all of Taylor's bulls**t."
