Polaris Entertainment has revealed that Ashley and Zuny paid Sojung a visit at the hospital and told her about their fellow member RiSe’s death. According to the agency, “Sojung is feeling deep sorrow after hearing about EunB and RiSe. Ashley and Zuny, who are admitted in the same hospital, are comforting Sojung. The three members are relying on each other to overcome this difficult time.”
After the fatal vehicular accident that happened last September 3, EunB died on the way to the hospital while RiSe remained unconscious due to a major head injury. Ashley and Zuny who only had minor injuries were treated at the hospital as well. Sojung was scheduled for surgery days before to fix her facial structure and is now recovering.
RiSe’s wake is reportedly held at the Korea University Anan Hospital. The whole Korean entertainment industry is sending their deep condolences to Rise’s friends and family. People from the industry such as Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee’s Minho, Kara’s Gyuri, B1A4, Yoo Jaesuk and many more have paid their respects to the 23-year old artist. Most artists have sent heartbreaking messages on Twitter who remember her as a happy and cheerful person.
Kwon RiSae’s family attended her funeral yesterday. RiSe’s remains will be taken back to Japan with her family, where she will have a funeral with her family and close ones. She will then be laid to rest in Japan, where RiSe grew up as a fourth generation Korean Japanese.
The whole Korean entertainment industry mourns for the loss of another young and talented artist. May the three remaining members Ashley, Zuny and Sojung find comfort from all the support everyone is extending to them.
