We have all heard about the health benefits of going natural. In today's world, we have become more conscious of our bodies and are continuously finding ways to improve our heath. Resurgence of natural supplements are on the rise with people fussing over benefits of ingesting healthier options such as apple cider vinegar, honey, coconut oil, cinnamon and many others.

Apple cider has been used by people for thousands of years. Its benefits are remarkable as it contains antioxidants which can reduce the risk of cancer. It also improves blood sugar levels and is beneficial for people who have type 2 diabetes. Some researchers revealed that vinegar may have the same physiological effects as anti-diabetic medications metformin and acarbose. Apple Cider can also protect you against a heart attack or stroke by preventing the oxidation of low-density lipoprotein (LDL aka bad cholesterol) which helps build up plaque blockages in our arteries. Apple also kills bacteria. It has natural antibacterial properties that helps fight bacteria in our system.

There are many ways where you can incorporate apple cider as part of your daily regimen. You can use apple cider as substitute for your creamy salad dressings. For maintenance, you can take a couple of tablespoons of apple cider with half cup of warm water and mix it with honey. It should be noted though that you have to rinse your mouth with water after drinking apple cider to prevent the erosion of your tooth enamel over time.

As apple cider can help in wondrous ways, we should still keep in mind that it should not be taken in huge amounts as it is still an acid. Undiluted apple cider vinegar can cause burning sensations when used on the skin and if ingested in its raw form, can damage the esophagus or parts of your digestive track. People with low potassium levels and low bone mieral density should take precaution in drinking apple cider vinegar.
