iPhone 6 Launch: Apple Sends Out Invitations To September 9 Event As Full Reveal And Announcement Of The Apple Smartphone Confirmed

| By

The internet world started buzzing with curiosity when Apple Company sent out their invites for what they deemed to be the most anticipated technology event of 2014. With this being said, the public started to speculate that September 9, 2014 would also be the date of the launch of Apple’s most awaited product – the iPhone 6.

According to articles from The Economic Times and The Guardian, some of the features that they are expecting to see are the following:

TOUCHD SENSOR
While this fingerprint sensor feature is already available in the Apple iPhone5, the upgraded version of this features not only allows you to unlock the phone and give you access to the App store but is also expected to deliver a more durable TouchID sensor that will also have better fingerprint recognition.

LARGE DISPLAY
Speculations say that Apple would launch the iPhone 6 in two screen sizes – 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch. Aside from that, Apple is also attending to most customer’s complains about the screen breaking by using a more durable scratch-resistant Sapphire Glass display.

IMPROVED CAMERAS
With the iPhone 5s having a 5MP sensor camera, it is said to be the best camera phone today but rumors say that the iPhone 6 may have a 13MP sensor camera that takes high resolution photos plus it is equipped with a better front camera.

REVAMPED DESIGN
After the iPhone 4 launch, Apple’s phones have been designed to have metal bodies and a glass design for the front except iPhone 5c which came with a plastic body. The iPhone 6 is expected to have a slimmer body, wider screen and a metal unibody.

According to research firm ISI, we're about to see "the 'mother lode' of all Apple upgrade cycles" when Apple releases two new iPhones with bigger screens this year. It's thought that iPhone 6 sales may be 20 per cent higher than iPhone 5s.

The said big event will happen on September 9, 2014 at 10AM in the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, California. It has been reported that Apple sent out 2,500 invitations for this grand event.
