Survivor 2014 Season 29: Full Cast Includes Pairs of Loved Ones, John Rocker’s Emotional Baggage Expected to Spill Out

| By

Survivor 2014 Season 29 Full Cast has just been revealed since last week of August to make Survivor: San Juan del Sur- Blood vs Water more interesting. The original 20 contestants that comprised of pairs of loved ones, are now dominated by men. Famous names like baseball superstar John Rocker, and his girlfriend Julie McGee, Amazing Race Nadiya and Natalia Anderson, Reed Kelly and Josh Canfield from Broadway, and the rest of the cast will make the grab for a million dollars more fascinating.

A pair of women was reportedly forced to drop out of the list after the medical checkup. "So the way it works out is there are more men than women...That's just the game. We don't like it that way but that's the way it's going to start," host Jeff Probst said in Entertainment Weekly.

Having a controversial contestant like John Probst will surely make Season 29 more enticing. His brave comments featured in Sports Illustrated article in 1999 about living in New York City filled with foreigners, his disgust to be seated in the train next to strangers, and hearing non-English speakers roaming around Times Square, all these are likely to be brought in and remembered by other cast during elimination.

"I find John Rocker a perfect fit for this show because of the baggage he brings in...he has massive obstacles to overcome," says Probst. This early, it's mind-boggling to think how Rocker will eat and sleep with people, who may be English speakers, but are nonetheless strangers to him. Would he survive or others eliminate him first in the Nicaraguan island. That's worth watching.

Other challengers include father and son Keith Nale and West Nale, mother-daughter Missy Payne and Baylor Wilson, married couple Jeremy Collins and Val Collins, college sweethearts Jon Misch and Jaclyn Schultz, father-daughter Dale Wentworth and Kelly Wentworth, and brothers Drew Christy and Alec Christy.

Season 29 Survivor: San Juan del Sur- Blood premieres on Wednesday, September 24, 2016.
