The Flash CW Series Spoiler: Barry Allen To Suffer Power Outage Because Of New Villain; Plus, The Flash And His Father Share Some Moments (Photos)

New The Flash CW Series Spoiler is something that will leave fans of Barry Allen (played by Grant Gustin) on the edge of their seat. According to a scoop by the TV Line's Matt Webb Mitovich, the fastest man on earth is going to be slowed down by a new villain he has no clue about. More importantly, the whole Central City will be terrorized by this new The Flash nemesis and will leave our super hero powerless.

"Looks like Central City will get hit with a Blackout in Episode 7, when Farooq, an electricity-wielding metahuman, seeks vengeance against Dr. Wells (played by Tom Cavanagh). Flash to the rescue? Mayyyybe not, seeing as Barry will be suffering a "powers" outage just when this new baddie arrives," Mitovich wrote in a September 5 post.

While this The Flash CW Series Spoiler will make you flinch, a new teaser from the show will surely melt your heart. CW has released new official photos and this features Barry and his father Henry Allen (played by John Wesley Shipp) having a conversation through a prison phone. Shipp is by the way the one who played the Flash in the 90s TV series of the same name.

"Given his history with The Flash, [executive producers] Andrew [Kreisberg], Geoff [Johns] and I could only think of one person we wanted to play Barry's father and that was John Wesley Shipp," EP Greg Berlanti said back in May this year about the casting of Shipp.

"He gives a fantastic and emotional performance in the pilot and we are looking forward to his presence in many more episodes. Also, personally, it was just wonderful to work with him again since my days at Dawson's Creek. He's a great actor and a great guy."

The Flash will premiere on October 7 of this year. Also in the cast are Candice Patton as Iris West and Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow.
