Floyd Mayweather News: Undefeated Champion Sued By Ex-Fiancee; Seeking Damages For Multiple Attacks; The Boxer 'Was So Informed' About Terminated Prenancy, Says Lawyer

| By

New Floyd Mayweather news indicates that the undefeated boxer is sued by her ex-fiancee Shantel Jackson for alleged multiple attacks on her on different occasions.

Jackson's suit is seeking damages for alleged battery, assault, defamation, invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, among others.

In a news conference Thursday, Jackson was accompanied by her lawyer Gloria Allred, who read a prepared statement to the press, stating that in December 2013, "sonogram revealed that Ms. Jackson was carrying twins that Mayweather had fathered, and she told him the news. He asked for a copy of the sonogram, which she sent to him. She had no idea that he would turn that image into a device to inflict emotional torture upon her. Mayweather insisted that the plaintiff move to Las Vegas. Ms. Jackson wanted to remain in Los Angeles. When Ms. Jackson refused to move, Ms. Jackson alleges that Mayweather became verbally abusive, stating 'I took you out of the 'hood. I should have left [you] there. In January, Ms. Jackson's pregnancy terminated and Mr. Mayweather was so informed," LA Times reported.

Earlier this year, the younger Mayweather posted on his Facebook account a sonogram that is allegedly Jackson's. The caption read: "The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson @missjackson broke up was because she got a abortion, and I'm totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies." #ShantelJackson#FloydMayweather#TheMoneyTeam#TMT

According to TMZ, Jackson claims that in 2012, "he twisted [her] arm, choked her, and forcibly took her phone away from her to look through it."

In April 2013, the report added, during an argument with Jackson, "he bent her arm, restrained her, and pointed a gun at her foot, asking 'Which toe do you want me to shoot?'"

LA Times quoted Jackson from a read statement: "I loved Floyd deeply, but he continued to disappoint and intentionally hurt me. ... I have been embarrassed and humiliated more than I can ever imagine by Floyd, whom I once called my best friend and fiancée. It was with a heavy heart that I finally realized the only way to set the record straight and achieve justice for what he has done to me, is filing this lawsuit."

In 2012, Mayweather was jailed in Nevada after allegedly beating Josie Harris, the mother of his children.

Mayweather in 2012 served 60 days in a Nevada jail after the mother of his children, Josie Harris, claimed she was roughed up by the boxer when he learned she was seeing another man.

Mayweather, who has not given his statement yet, is currently preparing for his fight against Argentine boxer Marcos Maidana on Sept. 13.
